Healthify plans to consolidate its India business and boost profits, following its April 2024 restructuring
Digital health and wellness startup Healthify is on track to record its first cash-positive quarter in India as it plans to deepen artificial intelligence (AI) offerings in 2025, its founder told Mint.
"January and February were cash flow positive," co-founder and CEO Tushar Vashisht said. He wants to ensure Healthify's India business remained profitable. It took the firm nearly 13 years to reach this point, having been founded in 2012.
Its plan for 2025 is laid out: "Scaling a small but growing US business, handling a profitable India business, and driving AI innovation," he said.
Healthify's immediate plans for the India business are to consolidate what's working and bump up profits. Some of it can be attributed to the company's restructuring exercise in April 2024. According to a report from Inc42, around 150 employees, or 27% of the firm's workforce, were impacted. It was the third restructuring it had undertaken in two years.
