The broadcaster, streaming Asia Cup for first time, is sure of adding viewers, boosting revenue despite Indo-Pak tensions
India-Pakistan matches are always high on excitement and tension, but caution marked Sunday's Asia Cup clash in Dubai. Yet, SonyLIV, which is streaming the Asia Cup for the first time this year, is confident of reaping long-term rewards from the clash.
Tensions between the two neighbours escalated after Pakistani terrorists killed 26 Indians in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam area, a popular tourist spot. New Delhi retaliated with 'Operation Sindoor' targeting terror camps across the border and deep into Pakistani territory.
Sentiments in India against anything related to Pakistan remain strong, with calls to boycott all sporting ties. However, SonyLIV is confident the tournament will boost its ad revenues and subscriber base.

Fraudsters will mourn the end of UPI payment requests

From 1 October, the \"collect request\" option for P2P transactions has been withdrawn. This is a decisive step to combat a surge in financial fraud within India's digital payments ecosystem.
