Gold prices appreciated by ₹300 to ₹21.65 lakh per 10 gms in Delhi on Monday due to a weak US dollar and optimism over a possible peace agreement between the US and Iran.

According to local marketmen, the yellow metal of 99.9% purity rose by ₹300 to ₹21,65,200 per 10 gms (inclusive of all taxes) from Friday’s closing of ₹21,64,900.
Silver prices, however, were unchanged at ₹2,71,000 per kg market players said.
