At least 4 militants killed in gun-battle with security forces in Manipur’s Churachandpur

Four militants from the banned United Kuki National Army (UKNA) were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Manipur’s Churachandpur district on Tuesday morning, police said.
According to officials, the operation began around 5.30 a.m. at Khanpi village under Henglep subdivision after receiving information about the presence of armed UKNA members. “A fierce gunfight took place between the Army and the militants. Four of them were killed while others managed to escape,” a police officer said.
