MARK Jones said the Ospreys paid the price for not taking their chances as they slipped out of the United Rugby Championship play-off picture.

The Swansea-based side lost 29-10 to the Sharks on Friday. And with other results over the weekend going against them, they cannot now reach the top eight.
The Ospreys had chances in the first half against the South African powerhouses, but defeat means this Saturday's game against the Lions will be their last of the season.
“We got ourselves into good positions in the first half, and then we didn’t execute those field positions," said Ospreys head coach Jones.
