Prioritize public service, Marcos orders Cabinet

President Marcos has directed his Cabinet to prioritize public service and speed up the implementation of government projects, Malacañang said, distancing the Executive branch from the ongoing impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte.
Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said this on Friday, May 16, following reports that circulated on social media on Thursday that Marcos has supposedly told his Cabinet that he does not want the impeachment of the Vice President, and they should focus on public service.
In her press briefing Friday, Castro confirmed that the President has indeed told them to focus on serving the people.
