PNP to intensify police presence during ‘Undas’

Police Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr., acting chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), ordered all police commanders to intensify patrols and security measures in communities and residential areas to deter burglars and thieves from targeting empty homes and business establishments during the All Saints’ and All Souls Days’ on Nov. 1 and 2, respectively, or locally known as “Undas”.

Nartatez said police commanders were also tasked to coordinate with barangay security officers and security volunteers to ensure a quick response to any suspicious activity.
