MMFF '25 unveils first four entries

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has announced its first four official entries for 2025. This includes films starring some of the brightest stars, such as Vice Ganda, Nadine Lustre, and Piolo Pascual.
The announcement was held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City on July 8. It was hosted by actor Enchong Dee and host-journalist Jervi "Kaladkaren" Wrightson.
This year's MMFF embodies the theme, "A New Era for Philippine Cinema." Out of the 23 scripts that were submitted for the annual film festival, only eight were selected as part of its tradition.
