Mayor Isko tells Manila city personnel: Serve the people, protect public welfare

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso reminded city government personnel of their mission to serve the people and ensure their safety as mass protests against corruption in parts of Manila commenced on Sunday, Sept. 21.
"Ang bilin ko lang, simple: tayo ay tutulong. Basta tayo, bilang gobyerno sa Maynila. Kung may mangangailangan ng medical assistance, kahit sino, ulitin ko, kahit sino pa sila na mangangailangan ng assistance nila, tutulungan natin (My only order is simple: we will help. We will help as much as we can as the city government of Manila. If anyone needs medical assistance, anyone, I repeat, anyone, who needs their assistance, we will help)," Domagoso said as he addressed the 300 personnel from various offices
