Marcos in Japan for World Expo

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will join the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, this week to promote the country's tourism, Malacañang announced.

In a press briefing, Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said the President left the country with a small delegation yesterday afternoon to launch the Philippine Pavilion in the Expo.

“Ito (Philippine Pavilion) po ay nagtatampok po ito ng mga, of course, ‘yung mga mayayaman nating kultura at magaganda nating landscapes (The Philippine Pavilion features our rich culture and beautiful landscapes),” Castro said.

“Ito po ay isa sa parte para mas lalong mapalawig natin ang turismo sa bansa (This is part of our efforts to promote our country’s tourism),” she added.
