LTFRB to hold nationwide public consultation on PUV fare increase

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will be holding nationwide public consultation on the petition of various transport groups for fare increase that have been pending in the agency for months now.
LTFRB Chairman Vigor D. Mendoza II said he already instructed all the agency's regional directors to hold the public consultation in their respective areas at the soonest possible time, and submit the report and recommendation to his office by Nov. 14.
"We already issued a Board Resolution for the conduct of the public consultation on November 10 here at the Central Office. We will make sure that all concerned sectors will be present," said Mendoza.
