Kia Philippines celebrates the community behind its bestselling subcompact SUV

The Kia Sonet Pilipinas Club marks a milestone with its first and biggest grand meet yet

Kia Philippines celebrated a milestone in mobility and within the automotive community with the first and biggest grand gathering yet of the Kia Sonet Pilipinas Club, held at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The event united proud Sonet owners and enthusiasts in a shared celebration of Kia's best-selling nameplate in the country, which has been recognized for its style, practicality, and strong connection with Filipino drivers. It also marked the first anniversary of the Kia Sonet's launch in the Philippines last June 2024. Highlighting the strength of the growing community, the celebration featured the largest Kia convoy to date, with 60 Sonet units driving from Alabang to Nuvali.

"Since its launch, the Kia Sonet has quickly gained traction in the market, thanks to its standout features and the passionate community behind it. Today, nearly 1 out of every 4 entry B-SUVs sold in the Philippines is a Kia Sonet, a testament to the strong connection between the vehicle and its growing base of proud owners," said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines.
