'Habagat' to bring rains across PH; LPA forms outside PAR

The southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” will continue to bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers over several parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported on Sunday, June 29.
A low-pressure area (LPA) was also spotted around 8 a.m. approximately 1,410 kilometers east of Central Luzon.
PAGASA said the weather disturbance has a slim chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
