GSIS investment vields P139M
Manila Bulletin
|September 25, 2025
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), the state-run pension fund for public sector employees, said its investments in DigiPlus Interactive Corp. have so far generated a total of P139 million in dividends since it injected P1 billion worth of funds into the gaming firm in 2023.
-
"We already made P139 million from that [investment]," said GSIS President and General Manager (PGM) Jose Arnulfo "Wick" A. Veloso, in response to a concern about modifying the pension fund's investment strategies to make them more palatable to the public, during a press briefing on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
