|December 17, 2025
The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) has unveiled an action plan to intensify economic cooperation between Manila and Beijing, specifically targeting a significant boost in Philippine exports and tourism.
-
The move follows a directive from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., who tasked the business group to “bridge for international partnership,” particularly with China. FFCCCII president Victor Lim met with newly appointed Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian to present the agenda.
Marcos earlier urged FFCCCII to help “deepen our international partnerships... with China” to secure “better trade, greater investments, and enhanced collaboration.”
