Partial election results showed Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando leading in the gubernatorial race.

As of 2:54 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, with 77.42 percent of votes counted, Fernando (National Unity Party) had 908,640 votes. He was followed by Wilhelmino “Willy” Sy-Alvarado (Reporma) with 176,911 votes, and Salvador Violago (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) with 175,155 votes.

In the vice gubernatorial race, Alex Castro (NUP) was ahead with 1,051,459 votes, while Elmer Paguio (PFP) had 188,393 votes.
