Driver's licenses may now be renewed online - LTO

The public will now be able to renew their driver’s license online as the Land Transportation Office (LTO) seeks to streamline the process, eliminate red tape and long queues at local offices, and make it more accessible for motorists nationwide.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II said the renewal of driver’s license may be made via the eGovPH application, enabling the agency to transact with its clients in a fast and comfortable way even if they are in their homes or offices.

"This is a better alternative for going to LTO offices since you don’t need to shell out money for transportation to our offices and don’t even need to queue in any license renewal offices," said Mendoza.

Clients need to download and install the eGovPH application in their smartphones to avail of the digital transaction.
