The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has started to review and recalibrate the pricing of socialized housing projects across the country in a bid to make them fair and affordable to Filipino families.

- AARON RECUENCO

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling said the mass housing pricing was among those discussed during the recent engagements with various stakeholders, which also served as a venue for the discussion of the need to align and update government policies to the needs of the housing sector.

“The initiative ensures that the price ceiling and policies remain fair, practical, and responsive to the needs of Filipino families, striking a balance between affordability for homebuyers and sustainability for developers and partner agencies,” said Aliling.
