De La Salle University and Ateneo take on their separate foes as the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball action fires off at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion Arena in Manila Saturday, Sept. 20.

Coming off a door-die finals loss from last year and a couple of runner-up finishes from the past months, the Green Archers are out to redeem themselves this season and repeat over the Adamson Soaring Falcons in their first assignment at 4:30 p.m.

The Blue Eagles, meanwhile, tackle the FEU Tamaraws at 1 p.m.

With Kevin Quiambao, CJ Austria, Henry Agunnane, Joshua David, and Raven Gonzales bidding goodbyes, all eyes would be on veteran Mike Phillips as he tries to bring La Salle back on top of UAAP basketball.
