July 30 2025

Asia United Bank (AUB) posted a 17-percent growth in consolidated net income to a record P6.1 billion for the first six months of 2025 from the P5.2 billion earned in the same period last year.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the bank stated that its highest-ever first-half profit was primarily driven by a 13-percent growth in total revenues to P11.2 billion from 9.9 billion in the first half of 2024.

Earning assets rose 21 percent to P382.6 billion from P316.5 billion, resulting in a seven-percent year-on-year increase in net interest margin (NIM) to P8.8 billion and a NIM ratio of five percent.
