167 quakes shake Bulusan

A total of 167 volcanic earthquakes were recorded at Bulusan Volcano over a 24-hour period, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in its latest observation released on Wednesday, June 11.

This is higher than the 14 quakes recorded the previous day.

The agency also reported that voluminous emission was observed from the volcano before drifting northeast.
