UNITED STAR'S MESSAGE TO FAN IN FIGHT FOR LIFE AFTER CAR HORROR

MASON Mount has shown support for the family of a big United fan who continues to fight for his life after being struck by a car.

The Reds star has sent a video message to Lewis Rimmer's wife, Sarah, and two daughters, Amelia and Maddison, in the aftermath of a Range Rover hitting him and causing 'life-changing' injuries.

Lewis, from Bolton, remains 'critically ill' in hospital after being put in an induced coma following the horror incident in Bromley Cross, his close friend Andy Tonge told the M.E.N.
