CANALSIDE CAFE BAR SPACE MADE FROM UPCYCLED CONTAINERS

- By ADAM MAIDMENT

Waterway to relax!

A new cafe and bar space has opened at Coop Live, constructed out of upcycled storage containers.

With a stunning backdrop of the Ashton Canal and overlooking the Etihad stadium, the new Canalside space officially opens its doors on Monday, September 15, and will serve as a daytime cafe, co-working space, merch shop and event day bar for ticket holders.

The cafe will be open from 8am, serving coffee and locally-sourced snacks and lunches, including granola bars, cakes, tacos, and pastries, with a roll-out of Detroit-style pizzas, fried chicken and halloumi fries into the evening. There are also self-serve beer and cider stations for quick ordering too.

Spread across two floors, Canal-side will feature both indoor and outside seating alongside a stunning part-covered terrace on both levels overlooking the water, which will be a perfect location for a mid-shift coffee break or an evening cocktail.
