New 'keeper looking forward to be joining forces with Haaland

NEW City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has hinted that he is excited to be playing in the same team as striker Erling Haaland after completing his deadline-day move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Italian entered City's radar during the summer transfer window after it became clear that Pep Guardiola was eyeing a massive overhaul of the goalkeeping department.

After the Blues hijacked Newcastle United's bid for James Trafford, it seemed like City had done all of their business in that area.

However, once it became clear that previous stalwart Ederson was looking likely to join Fenerbahce, the opportunity to sign Donnarumma arose.
