Drunk off-duty cop arrested by fellow officers is sacked

A GREATER Manchester Police constable who was convicted of being drunk and disorderly has been sacked from the force.

Elizabeth Kenyon's conviction related to an 'off-duty incident' in the early hours of January 11 this year in Manchester city centre.

The findings of a misconduct hearing chaired by Assistant Chief Constable John Webster have now been published. In the judgment, he said she was 'approached by two on-duty police colleagues, but 'behaved in a manner that caused the officers who encountered her on the morning in question to affect her arrest for the offence of drunk and disorderly.
