Brook to replace Hatton in fight

BOXING KELL Brook is set to step in for the late Ricky Hatton and take on Eisa Al Dah as part of a boxing bill in Dubai next year.

Hatton had been scheduled to face the ‘Arabian Warrior’ on 2nd December - Eid Al Etihad, when the United Arab Emirates celebrate their unification - before his death in mid-October. ‘Destiny In The Desert’ was cancelled following the boxing legend's death, but it will now go ahead on 13th February, with Brook's first bout in four years serving as the main event. The event's promoter The Agenda has confirmed it will be an evening paying tribute to and honouring Hatton.
