SHEFFIELD Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has described Harry Amass' progress on loan as "amazing

- By STEVEN RAILSTON

Manchester United loaned Amass to Wednesday in the summer. The Owls have been in turmoil due to their ownership situation, but Amass has been given regular minutes in S6.

The youngster has made 11 starts in the Championship and scored his first professional goal against Southampton last weekend, finding the right corner from the edge of the box.

United are delighted with Amass' loan at Hillsborough so far and Wednesday's manager lauded the 18-year-old when he spoke about his progress after his first goal for the club.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star, Pedersen said of Amass: "The young man who came into Sheffield Wednesday and the young man who just left the stadium today are two different humans.

"And they are two different players. His progression has been amazing and, for a young player like Harry, he came with a lot of energy, but then the Championship always comes knocking with three games in a row.
