£1m pub set for arrival

TWO hospitality heavyweights have teamed up to transform a well-loved pub, it has been confirmed.
-
Platform 5 located on Station Road in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, recently closed its doors ahead of a £1m reinvention. It will reopen this autumn as The Station House in a nod to its location next to the village's railway station.
The move represents a collaboration between Manchester-based brewery Joseph Holt and thriving family-run business Almond Family Pubs.
