Most get first choice school place

CHESHIRE East Council says 93.6 per cent of parents received a place for their child at their first choice primary school.

The figure for September 2025 was up slightly from 2024 and came from 3,880 applications for 120 schools in the borough.
And 98.9 per cent of parents received a preference place on national offer day, April 16.
