Knowing the importance of health sector

AVID followers of politics will know just how important the health and social care sector is to the Liberal Democrats.

So it was uplifting to see the recent reports that Cheshire East Council has been given a good rating by the Care Quality Commission, the independent health and social care regulator.

However, there is a burning issue within the sector that is often overlooked, one that is a minefield for families across Cheshire East, and that is Continual Health-care Funding framework (CHC).

CHC is a means to have care costs, at home or in a care setting, fully funded by the NHS.
