CRICKETERS have been bowled over by the appearance of their newly-renovated clubhouse - unveiled just in time for the start of the season.

Members of Macclesfield Cricket Club, on Victoria Road, say the work marks a major milestone.
The latest phase saw a complete internal strip-out and redesign of the main clubhouse space to include a vaulted ceiling. Solar panels have also been installed on the rear of the roof.
Previously the building's kitchen, toilets, and exterior have all been refurbished.
