Comic fans drawn to Macc-Pow

MACC-POW takes place for the 10th time this weekend and is set to be a big draw for comic fans taking place over four days.
The festival is on across Macclesfield town centre from Thursday, June 26, to Sunday, June 29, with a host of event and appearances from 70 creators - both local and international.
It kicks off on Thursday evening with a showing of Mall Rats at Cinemacc - the first of four films there across the weekend.
And the main event is at the town hall on Saturday from 10am to 4pm where creators will set up stalls and here will also be workshops quizzes and a chat show.
Among those to take part is the well-known Tom Scioli - who is from Pittsburgh and is appearing in the UK for the first time.
