Warning given over controlled moorland burn

FIRE chiefs have warned residents in two Greater Manchester boroughs that smoke may be seen on the moors this weekend - but it is nothing to be worried about.

Those living in and around Saddleworth in Oldham and Stalybridge in Tameside have been told a 'large amount' of smoke may be visible. Both areas were devastated by moor fires back in 2018. While there were further blaz
