On the back of the worst season at Old Trafford for decades, Ten Hag has transformed the club's fortunes since his appointment, which has seen the Reds reach today's Carabao Cup final and move to third in the Premier League table.

After defeating Barcelona in the Europa League on Thursday night, United are currently riding the crest of a wave and that performance has been widely regarded as the most significant victory of Ten Hag's tenure so far.
