Haal of a deal Erling has no concerns over City's charges

|March 23, 2025
ERLING Haaland said a lack of concern over the Premier League charges City are facing helped him to extend his contract at the club.
City signed the 24-year-old from Dortmund in 2022 but that did not put off the top European clubs that didn't get him from planning future moves.
Haaland's father had spoken of his son spending a few years in each European league before they opted for Pep Guardiola's side.
However, City, Manchester and England have all agreed with Haaland and he surprised the world of football earlier this year when he announced a new nine-and-a-half year deal to tie him to the Etihad club until 2034.
If he stays for the duration of his contract, he will have spent 12 years at the club.
Haaland's deal was more notable given City are facing a series of historical charges that could ruin the club.
