Advice for young people experiencing thoughts of suicide

TALK, share your feelings, don't shy away from difficult conversations - these are ways suicide can be prevented among young people.

The charity Papyrus works in two ways in its efforts to reduce the numbers of young people taking their own lives. First is through its round-the-clock suicide prevention helpline HOPELINE247.

The second is through its community work - in which charity staff try to equip people with the skills to spot signs of suicide while reducing the stigma and tabooness around it.
