Sileby Town win to keep up perfect league record

SILEBY TOWN continued their perfect record in the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League Premier Division on Saturday with a 124 run win over Shepshed.

Their sixth win in a row keeps them top of the table alongside defending champions Rothley Park as the only two teams with a 100 per cent record.
Shepshed won the toss and decided to field first and after 50 overs Sileby finished on 202-9 with Joshua Winterton top scoring on 68, Jake Gillett scored 23 Kieran Chance hit 19 and David Torr scored 17.
With the ball Will Goss was the pick of the Shepshed bowlers with 4-26.
