A beauty spot has been turned into a “boat graveyard” with dozens of abandoned vessels left to rot in the water.

Residents living near the River Soar in Loughborough say some of the rubbish-filled wrecks were dumped months ago.

The Canal and River Trust says it is in the very costly process of removing them.
