Northernmost part of China kicks off ski season

Mohe, China's northernmost city in Heilongjiang Province, started this year's ski season on Saturday after a snowfall.

The city's Arctic Ski Resort is one of the country's northernmost of its kind, boasting the highest latitude and the longest snow season. It can provide tourists with a half-year-long ski season that runs from early November to the end of April.
