Official says the U.S. cannot take military action over claims of Christian persecution.
The U.S. cannot unilaterally carry out any military operationin Nigeria overits claims of Christian persecution in the West African country, a Nigerian presidential spokesman said Sunday.

Bwala was responding to Trump’scomment Saturday that he has ordered the Pentagon to begin planning for potential military action in Nigeria over alleged Christian persecution in the country.
