POLICE are searching for answers after a schoolboy was attacked near Sefton Park.

Croxteth Drive

The 'violent assault' occurred at about 8.40pm on Tuesday.

Police received reports that two people had attacked a 15-year-old boy on Croxteth Drive. The victim suffered several wounds to his legs and head and was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
