Wellens weighing up the options for Salford clash

ST HELENS welcome back Kyle Feldt for tomorrow’s trip to Super League basement dwellers Salford Red Devils (3pm, AJ Bell Stadium, Sky Sports+).

The vastly experienced Australian has been sidelined with a hand injury since March and his return could hardly be more timely.

Saints are doing it tough with injuries in the backs at the moment with star full-back Jack Welsby out for 16 weeks, centre Mark Percival set for a five-week absence and winger Lewis Murphy on the sidelines for eight weeks.

Saints boss Paul Wellens said: "We knew Kyle's qualities when we brought him to the club. “He's got a wealth of experience and he’s a wonderful player.

“He had a great start to the year for us but unfortunately he had a setback.

“So it’s great for us to welcome him back into the team.
