Sing a song of Liverpool in my choral

THE new Alan Bennett film, The Choral, was released for Remembrance Sunday. Don't believe the lukewarm reviews - this is warm, entertaining and poignant. It features music from 1916 and got me thinking of the pretty nurse selling poppies in Penny Lane. Why doesn't the city have a choral that only performs Liverpool songs?

Obvious choices are Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever, and there are Greenbank Drive (The Christians) and Children Of The Ghetto and Stanhope Street (both from the Real Thing's Liverpool 8 suite).
