Mum, 24, died from unknown heart condition

AN “amazing” young mum died aged 24 just hours after falling ill.

Jody Heath, from the Beechwood estate, Wirral, became unwell on October 1 at 5am.

Despite the best efforts of doctors at Arrowe Park Hospital, she died later that day.

Jody was in a long-term relationship with Jack Bevan, 29, also from Beechwood.

Jody gave birth to their child, Maggie Bevan, 11 weeks ago.

The couple met in 2020 on a dating app.

When asked how he would describe Jody, Jack told the ECHO: “Quirky, definitely quirky.

“She had a heart of gold and was funny, kind and caring.

“We were nervous to meet but eventually we were like, let’s just go see each other in person. It just went from there.

“I know it's not the most exciting origin story, but it’s ours.
