Helping our children feel safe in sports

WITH more than five million children and young people regularly involved in sport or activity clubs outside of school, it is vital that parents, coaches and clubs work together to make every environment safe and positive.

Last year, our colleagues on the NSPCC Helpline had contacts from adults across the UK with concerns about a child's welfare in a sports setting. Childline counsellors also hear regularly from young people who are having a hard time in sports settings.
