Let there be light this festive season as the renowned Chester Zoo brings back its hugely popular outdoor light experience.
Open now until January 3, 2026, Lanterns & Light has returned to dazzle visitors - both new and returning - with a host of mesmerising installations, including exciting new features for 2025.
Produced in collaboration with RG Live, part of entertainment giants Sony Music, this year’s event promises to be Chester Zoo's “brightest ever” outing of the trail.
Just a short journey from Liverpool, Chester Zoo's Lanterns & Light has grown to become one of the north west's most spectacular and anticipated festive events, helping families and friends to create precious memories together each Christmas season.
Better yet, all profits from the event will support the zoo's charitable mission to prevent wildlife extinction worldwide.
