NICK Ball has set his sights on becoming the unified featherweight champion of the world after confirming he is set to return to the ring in February.

- By CONNOR O'NEILL ECHO Reporter

Ball retained his WBA featherweight title with a battling performance against Sam Goodman in Saudi Arabia back in August.

After 12 rounds of boxing, the three judges sitting at ringside scored the contest 118-110, 117-111 and 115-13, all in favour of the Everton Red Triangle fighter.

And the 28-year-old has now revealed that February is in the process of being confirmed, with the ECHO of the understanding that another fight in Liverpool is on the agenda.

“Nothing for the rest of this year, | think February is the next one,” he said. “I am just waiting on that. | am waiting for it to be all confirmed.”
