College chosen as hub for defence excellence

College will be working with the region's combined authorities to help secure the UK's 'sovereign capability'.The institution has been selected as one of five national hubs for the nation’s newly established Defence Technical Excellence Colleges (DTECs).

This recognises the college, which has sites in the city and Newark, as a national leader in delivering industry-standard training for the defence sector.

The college will be working in close partnership with the region's combined authorities and a network of delivery partners to bridge the gap between the classroom and the frontline.
