Shoplifter jailed for four-month spree

A SERIAL thief has been jailed following a four-month shoplifting spree in the city.

Kyle Simpson repeatedly targeted the same stores - Tesco Express and Savers - stealing goods worth more than £2,600.

The offences took place at various locations across Leicester between May and August this year.

He repeatedly targeted stores for alcohol, chocolates, laundry items, including washing pods and household products, during the summer.
