Plea for witnesses after fatal car crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash after the driver died of his injuries.

Officers were called to Thornton Lane, Markfield, shortly after 10am on Sunday following a report a green Skoda Karoq had left the road and hit a tree.

The accident happened near the entrance to The Retreat Farm as the vehicle travelled towards Botcheston
